Any idea how to fix so steam can see steam in my server ?

This clearly means that there are NO players using Steam

in order to able to see other player's avatar your steam status should be "online".

Yes they are.
As I said, the problem is in the server not in me.
I don't know what cause the problem but all my 4 server are have this problem.
I saw some other server that have the same problem, but most of the other server are not having this problem.

I have a problem when i set:

cid_NoSteam47 = 4
cid_NoSteam48 = 4

So if there are 2 brothers or some thing like that, that have each one a computer so there IP are the same, and they are non-steam (steam id lan).
So if they are connecting to my server after those setting, they have the same steam id, and that make a problem, i have plugin that give points for killing etc ...
so two of them are getting the points.
can you make a plugin or something that will detect if a player connects to the server and there is another player that with the same steam id, he will get kicked ?

I don't have other ideas. I would recreate server from scratch.


Create separate topic here. But I would think about another solution like modifying points system. It could does not give any points to second player with the same SteamID.

Друзья,подскажите,вот ставлю на хостинг с линуксом предыдущую версию - работает,а вот последнюю эту,ну никак не запускаеться,доходит до его подключения и падает...в чем может быть проблема?

Правильно.

Последний Build от Valve запретил использовать Dproto. Выход: Оставить прежний Build до последнего обновления или иметь Steam сервер.

а что мешает использовать revemu
насколько я знаю он отлично работает с последним билдом

Да, только не во все клиенты могут подключиться.

я ради прикола поднял без дпрото - пускает вроде как всех клиентов :D Есть у меня шальная идея одна. Пока всё никак не реализую просто :D

Хотя может 47й протокол не пускает. Я не уверен какой у меня на пиратке протокол был.

на revemu сервер забивается легко 20 из 20 возможных. так что смело используйте

в смысле?

в зависимости от настроек rev.cfg
по умолчанию пускает только rev2012, cracksteam и steam
для остальных настраивать надо
или еще что-то?

Вопрос был поставлен насчет Dproto. Про RevEmu не было ничего.
